Quest: Unwelcome Strangers
Description: Farmer Maggot's produce was stolen by brigands. He managed to escape after driving the waggon to their camp, but without his produce.
'I haven't had much luck with strangers lately. No, I'm not talking about some fool hobbit-lads pinching a mushroom or two. There's bad folk moving in on these lands, and the Bounders aren't doing a thing to stop 'em.
'Some man from around Bree came here demanding food, and when I refused, he threatened me! I set the dogs on him and run him off, but later I was waylaid by Big Folk just like him on the road across the river near Buckland! They made me drive my waggon to their camp -- a stockade north of the road, about halfway between the Brandywine Bridge and that camp Adso has out east.
'I was lucky to get away with my hide! I'd sure appreciate it if you could get my produce back.'
