You see, Chief Watcher Grimbriar has ordered all the woodworkers in Bree and the surrounding towns to craft Bree-spears to protect against any further attacks. 'Now, I am not one to disobey Chief Watcher Grimbriar's orders, but I simply won't take any new spears that aren't crafted from pristine rowan wood. It has been getting harder and harder to find pristine rowan wood, what with all the newcomers to Bree-land coming in and clearing the best trees to make new houses. Without pristine rowan wood, I am afraid the spear-hafts won't be strong enough.
