'Oh, hullo! Are you passing through? Would you perhaps be heading down to Michel Delving? You see, I have a satchel that must be delivered to Postmaster Proudfoot in Michel Delving. The reputation of the Quick Post service isn't what it once was, and I really want gentlehobbits throughout the Shire to once again trust in the speedy delivery of their mail.

'Would you mind taking it from the table over there and delivering it to Postmaster Proudfoot? He can be found in the square outside Town Hole -- just look for the stone wall.

'Please deliver it to him as quickly as you can, for he won't be happy with me if I get it to him late! Oh, and let no busybodies bother you as you deliver the mail. Come rain, come shine, come nosey hobbits, a postman must deliver the mail on time!'

'The dwarves here don't understand the importance of the Quick Post service and insist that letters and packages can be delivered whenever it is most convenient. That is preposterous, of course! Imagine if Postmaster Proudfoot allowed us that degree of laziness!

'Speaking of the Postmaster, I have a bundle of mail that needs to go to Michel Delving. If you are going that way, I'd appreciate if you dropped it off with Postmaster Proudfoot by Town Hole. Town Hole is surrounded by hedges, if you haven't visited it before.

'Go at once and let no nosey hobbits interfere with your duty! You'll have a long walk ahead of you, especially if you head south to Waymeet and then cut west across the fields to Michel Delving. Keep the satchel dry, even when travelling through Rushock Bog!'
